I'm thinking about getting my car dyno'd... just to see what it's got. I'm curious... but maybe something can be set up to get whoever out to check what their car is packing (if anything at all).

Anyone interested? I can get more details as per interest gauged here.

And I've found a dyno place here in Kitchener, just need to see if they will be also interested in something like this... could quite possibly be a reason to begin with another sponsor ;)

If it's cheap enough, I'll bring out the '81 Civic.

Well there's different prices for all day (8hrs) and half day (4hrs)... depending on how many people are interested... it shouldn't cost more than $30/car for about 3 runs each.

Good price, My buddy dave works there. He is very knowledgable with vehicles and I'm not sure if he does the tuning or not. Maybe I'll be interested next year.

Talk to Dan @ www.u2ndyno.com

Hes mobile so he'll come to you etc... plus as far as dyno's go, his is considered the best!!! I'm 99% positive hes a certified AEM EMS Tuner and is also great with a PFC.

Depending on when you want to do this thou I'd be in for sure.

Well one example as per pricing on his site is "Dyno Rental - 24hrs = $1000"

10 people @ $100 and they each get just over 2hrs of dyno time which is lss then $50 an hr where as some dyno shops want $50 per run/two.

Now I understand the above @ $100 for 2+ hrs of time is alot of time but someone such as myself would glady pay $100 for 2hrs of dyno time and it would be well spent!

Well, you know what guys.. since it is the end (ing) of the season, and a few of us... including me will be taking my car off the road soon.. maybe having one for the start of next season when a majority of us had parked our cars have taken it out... I bet that will draw more interest and make this event more of a season opener "warm-up?"

I would be more than willing to organize this, if the PSA staff don't mind me doing so.

Let me know of you're interest with that... Since I've barely gathered a usable number of input at this time.

You want to see some local High HP cars... alot of them are on www.kwmuscle.com
my car is pea's compared to half the cars on there.. I was talking to a couple of the guys on there that showed up to one of our meets and they said a supercharged Corvette was at Markem Performance putting something crazy like 900+ HP at the wheels thats true HP... and that would be crazy to see...
