Ae you just looking to get your car painted cheap? Cuz if thats the case, you can get your whole car painted for as little as like 500bux, just depends on where you go and if you got body work then it will be alot more. But you will be gettin a cheap job for sure.

I'd advise you to look into a Rent-A-Garage in Windsor if you are going to do something like this. They have DIY paint booths. Doing it in a garage isn't a really good idea for the following reasons:
- humidity
- temperature control
- dust/debris
- space
- walls/ceiling you have to protect from paint
Theres more. But yea, there are a number of such garages in Windsor area. Search around on Google or Yahoo. Good luck, and post some pics after your done!
P.S. Heat curing paint gives the best finish

hey
why don't you just do the sanding and all and give it to a shop just to paint it, you do all the work. it will cost you like 200-300 bucks max for a decent shop just to paint it.
i know it would be awsome to try it out your self, but why not try it out on a cheap winter beater?

primer.,paint + clear will run in the 400+ range if you primer the car yourself and make sure u make the body as smooth as can be meaning use urethane primer instead of etch or wat people call "no name cheap ass" primer and use as little bondo as you can! and get a good shop to paint look at EXPERIENCE of others! the higher percentage of a good job the higher the percentage yours is going to be good!

etching primer is for bare metal to make your epoxy primer stick to it...urethane primer? u mean hi build? you obviously know something about bodywork but not enough to give advice... my advice is to get help from someone who knows their shit and will show you how trial and error is the only way to learn.
