speeding ticket

just curious if anyone can give me any advice.. i got caught speeding plain and simple like over a week ago. when i went to pay the ticket online at paytickets.ca it asks for the offence number and other numbers... then it pops up "offense not found" but then asks for all the information on the ticket like my name etc. but my one friend went to court for the same ticket as me and they said the cop didnt file it so it got dismissed, i have no idea what to do as ive never been in this situation. like if i go to say i wanna fight it and they find out the cop didnt file it im good? so any help is appreciated

if the cop didnt file it then ur gonna walk out without a ticket the same thing happened to my buddy his ticket was dismissed

lol, to be honest the odds of the cop not filing it are pretty slim....

might be pretty slim but it happen to his buddy... and irnis buddy... so i dono.. you never know.... i say you go fight it because eighter way you tried to pay the ticket... so even if the cop did file it then you can pay it over there your ticket cant go up more... it can always only go down or stay the same

true when u go to court the ticket can only go down or stay the same doesnt hurt to go and fight it plus u have a good chance that ur ticket will be dismissed good luck

yeah fight it ALWAYS, I fought my redlight, it got thrown out...now my speeding ticket tomorrow will too :D (Prosecutor told me so)

i had a few tickets didnt fight any of them... which i should of but next time i will

Been there done that. Try again in a few days. It will show up. Trust me. I had 2 tickets at one time. Both within days of eachother. Kept tryin them thinking the same thing. They arent on there he didnt file it! Nope, kept checking back and they were there. I paid one and not the other and well my licence was suspended until I paid it.

If anything, go to court, tell em ur broke they knock it down or whatever...just hope its a cool day.

yep same thing happened to me with my first ticket, it wasn't showing in the system... I waited a week and checked again, then it popped up.
